Fields that were once Oak Openings still hold 200 to 300 year of oak trees. Many of those oaks you will see in this album.

Finger Lakes

]]>Canadice Lake is one of two undeveloped Finger Lakes in New York State. It is the source of water for the city of Rochester. Canadice and the larger "sister" lake Hemlock were recently acquired by the NYS DEC to be preserved forever without any development.

Access is limited to small boats >10HP, kayaks and canoes. Fishing is excellent and the lake has a variety of species...

]]>Simon Pond is near Tupper Lake, NY and connected to the much larger Tupper Lake. This beautilful "pond" has some of the nicest and calmest waters in the Adirondacks. Most of these shots were taken from a Kayak in the Fall of 2007 and 2008.
