I have spent almost my entire life in western New York. Growing up here and enjoying the many beautiful areas of this region is the inspiration for much of my work.
My favorite pastime is kayaking with my camera on the waters of the western Finger Lakes. I especially enjoy Canadice and Hemlock Lakes where there is no development to distract from the landscape and the lakes.
There are many times when I get to these lakes at dawn and am alone on the water. The tranquility and lack of distraction permits me to focus and attempt to capture the beauty and serenity of these lakes.
